Starting on 6 and 7 September, the ‘Obrim Carrers’ initiative will be held on weekends to encourage people to enjoy public spaces and make the city healthier and greener.
Gran de Gràcia
- Date: Saturdays and Sundays.
- Bus routes affected that will either be diverted or operate a limited route: V17, 22, 24, 114 and 116.
- Lines V17, 22 and 24: in the mountain direction, from Plaça del Cinc d'Oros, take the av. Diagonal, the via Augusta, the av. from the Riera de Cassoles to the square of Lesseps.
- Cancelled stops: 1116 - Gran de Gràcia - Lesseps, 1117 - Gran de Gràcia - Pl. Trilla, 1260 - Gran de Gràcia - Trav. de Gràcia, 1261 - Gran de Gràcia - Metro Fontana, 1391 - Gran de Gràcia - Jesús and 3388 - Còrsega - Pg. de Gràcia.

Once again, the Kings Royal Charter will arrive one day earlier than the Three Kings to get the letters of the children.

On Monday, January 5th, in the different neighborhoods of the city, there will be some disruptions in the route of most of the bus lines between 4 pm and 11 pm due to the Kings processions. The procession will end in Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, near to the Montjuïc Fountain.
- The lines affected will be: D20, D50, H12, H14, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, X2, X3, 13, 21, 23, 46, 47, 52, 55, 59, 65, 91, 109, 120, 121, 141, 150 and Barcelona Bus Turístic (Blue and Red routes).
- Recommended transport: if you need to travel where the procession goes by, we recommend you take the subway. The nearest stations are: Espanya (L1/L3), Rocafort (L1), Urgell (L1), Paral·lel (L2), Sant Antoni (L2) Jaume I (L4), Ciutadella / Vila Olímpica (L4) and Barceloneta (L4).
2. Nou Barris Procession
- Time: from 4 pm to 10 pm, approximately.
- Route: the procession will start at 7 pm from Carrer d'Aiguablava and will go along Via Júlia, Plaça de la República, Passeig de Verdum, Carrer del Doctor Pi i Molist, Plaça del Virrei Amat, Passeig de Fabra i Puig and will end around Avinguda de Rio de Janeiro with Avinguda Meridiana.
- The lines affected will be: D40, D50, H2, H4, H6, V27, V29, 34, 47, 60, 76, 122, 127, 132, 134, 180 and 182.
- Recommended transport: if you need to travel where the procession goes by, we recommend you take the subway. The nearest stations are: Fabra i Puig (L1), Trinitat Nova (L4/L11), Via Júlia (L4), Llucmajor (L4) and Virrei Amat (L5).
3. Horta Guinardó Procession
- Time: from 6 pm to 8.30 pm, approximately.
- Route: the Kings will start at Carrer de la Conca de Tremp with Carrer del Llobregós and will go along Carrers del Llobregós, del Pantà de Tremp, de Dante Alighieri, Baixada de la Plana, del Tajo and Passeig de Maragall, ending around Carrer de Mascaró.
- The lines affected will be: H2, V21, V23, V25, 19, 119 and 185.
- Recommended transport: if you need to travel where the procession goes by, we recommend you take the subway. The nearest stations are: Maragall (L4/L5), Horta (L5) and El Carmel (L5).
4. La Verneda - Sant Martí Procession
- Time: from 5 pm to 9 pm, approximately.
- Route: the procession will take place in Plaça de Leonardo da Vinci del Fòrum, starting at Plaça de Llevant and going along Rambla de Prim, Rambla de Guipúscoa, changing the way in Carrer de Fluvià and ends at Carrer de la Selva de Mar.
- The lines affected will be: H10, H12, H14, H16, V29, V31, 7, 33, 60 and 136.
- Recommended transport: if you need to travel where the procession goes by, we recommend you take the subway. The nearest stations are: Sant Martí (L2), La Pau (L2/L4), El Maresme / Fòrum (L4) and Besòs Mar (L4).
5. Sant Andreu - La Sagrera Procession
- Time: from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm, approximately.
- Route: the procession will start Plaça d'Orfila and will go along Passeig de Torras i Bages, Carrer del Palomar, Carrer Gran de Sant Andreu, Carrer Gran de la Sagrera, Carrer de Garcilaso, Carrer de Vallès i Ribot and Carrer de Coll until Plaça Masadas.
- The lines affected will be: H4, H6, H8, V31, 34, 126 and 133.

6. Poblenou Procession
- Time: from 6 pm to 8.30 pm, approximately.
- Route: the procession will start and finish in Carrer de Bilbao, at Jardins de Simone de Beauvoir, and goes along Carrer de Llull, Carrer de Bac de Roda, Carrer de Pujades, Carrer de la Llacuna, Carrer de Pere IV, Rambla del Poblenou, Carrer de Ramon Turró, Carrer de la Llacuna, Carrer de Llull until Carrer de Bilbao.
- The lines affected will be: H14, V25, V27, 6, 136 and 192.

7. Clot - Camp de l’Arpa Procession
- Time: from 6.30 pm to 9 pm, approximately.
- Route: the Kings will start from Carrer de Las Navas de Tolosa, and will go along Carrer del Ripollès, Carrer de la Muntanya, Carrer de Mallorca, Carrer del Dos de Maig, Carrer de València, Carrer de la Muntanya, Carrer d’Aragó and Carrer del Clot, ending at Plaça del Mercat del Clot.
- The lines affected will be: D50, H8, H10, V23, V25, 33, 34, 62 and 192.

8. Ciutat Meridiana Procession
- Time: from 3.45 pm to 5.15 pm, approximately.
- Route: the procession will start in Carrer de Perafita, will go along this street and Avinguda dels Rasos de Peguera, Carrer de Les Agudes, Carrer de Costabona, Avinguda dels Rasos de Peguera, Carrer de Vallcivera, Avinguda de Vallbona and will end their route in Plaça Roja de la Ciutat Meridiana.

Connection between L4 and L5 closed at Verdaguer station
Transportation impacts and recommendations
Until October, due to improvement works, the connecting corridor between metro lines L4 and L5 at Verdaguer station will be closed.
To enter or exit the Verdaguer station, you can use the Passeig Sant Joan access for L4 or the Bailèn access for L5.
The connection between metro lines L4 and L5 has to be made on the street, following the signage. When re-entering Verdaguer station and validating your ticket, no trip will be deducted.

Due to the celebration of New Year's Eve at Plaça d'Espanya, there will be disruptions to bus service.
- Date: Wednesday 31st December.
- Time of the affectation: from 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, to 4 a.m., January 1, approximately.
- Place: Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina.
- Area affected: the following streets will be closed to traffic: Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina, Avinguda de Rius i Taulet, Carrer de Mèxic, Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia and Carrer de Montanyans between Plaça de Sant Jordi and Passeig de Santa Madrona. Plaça d’Espanya will only be cut off if it is necessary to guarantee traffic safety.
- Buses that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: X3, 13, 23, 150 and bus turístic (red route). If the traffic is eventually cut off in Plaça d’Espanya it would also affect: D20, H12, H16, X2, 46, 65, 91 and 109.

At busy times, follow the directions given by staff, who will be in contact with the authorities. You can also get information over the PA system and on illuminated signs. Be particularly careful in Espanya (L1, L3), Rocafort (L1), Poble Sec (L3) and Urquinaona (L1/L4) which will be the busiest for getting to and from the event.
For your safety, do not approach the edge of the platform until the train has stopped.

Responsible Consumption and Social Solidarity Economy Fair
From 19 to 30 December, the Responsible Consumption and Social and Solidarity Economy Fair will be held in Plaça de Catalunya, where you will find quality, locally sourced products made under conditions that respect people and the environment.
The Responsible Consumption and Social and Solidarity Economy Fair is open in the southern section of Plaça de Catalunya (facing Rambla de Canaletes and Carrer Portal de l'Àngel) from Friday 19 to Tuesday 30 December, from 11 am to 8.30 pm, with the following exceptions. The Fair is not open on Christmas Day or St Stephen's Day, and on Wednesday 24th it will close at 6 pm.

From 17 December to 5 January, the 7th Christmas and Three Kings Fair will be held in the Rambla de Sants Gardens, filling the elevated walkway with craft stalls, gifts, food and decorations.

On December 25th, the 116th Nadal Swimming Cup will be held at Moll de la Fusta. During the morning, the different categories will set off to enjoy Spain's oldest open water swimming event and one of the most iconic in Europe. Once again, the course is 200 meters long with a turn at a buoy at 100 meters, starting and finishing at the Portal de la Pau.

From November 28th to January 6th, the Moll de la Fusta will be the setting for a new edition of “Nadal al Port”. This year, there will be a new feature: free baptisms on sailboats and night tours on a themed Golondrina boat. As usual, the venue will host a market with a variety of food options, attractions for children, and a program of activities organized by organizations and music schools from the neighborhoods surrounding the Port of Barcelona.
