Due to works on Carrer de Vila i Vilà, the Montjuïc funicular will be out of service from Monday 20 October for approximately 5 months.
Recommended transport to Montjuïc
You can get up Montjuïc by the following means:
- Metro L2 and L3 to Paral·lel. There, take the special bus which runs on the Funicular route with the same operating hours (Monday to Friday, from 7.30 am to 10.00 pm and Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9.00 am to 10.00 pm).
- Metro L1 and L3 to Espanya. From there take the number 150 bus (Pl. Espanya - Castell de Montjuïc).

Disruptions to the bus service
Bus service disruptions will occur 2 hours before the start of the matches and up to 1.30 hours after the end of the match.
- Possible affected lines that will be diverted or have their routes limited: D20, H8, V1 (possible impacts on the completion of matches), 52 (only runs on workdays) 54, 113, 175 (only runs on workdays) and Barcelona Tourist Bus (blue route) will be diverted, or their route will be restricted.

From 28 March to 27 September, on Saturdays and public holidays, line V19 will have three destinations in an upward direction to improve the service and increase capacity in the areas with the highest demand.
In addition to the usual route, between Barceloneta and Pl. Alfonso Comín, two sections will be reinforced:
- North reinforcement: it will operate between 10 am and 6 pm, between the stops of Praga - Rda. Guinardó (Metro Alfons X) and av. República Argentina (Metro Vallcarca).
- South reinforcement: it will operate between 10am and 9pm, between the stops of Pg. de Sant Joan - Còrsega (Metro Verdaguer) and Pl. Rosa dels Vents (Barceloneta area).

Disturbance Improvement works at Fondo L9 Nord station
Disruptions and alternative transport
From Tuesday, April 7, until Sunday, April 19, due to infrastructure improvement works at Fondo metro station of L9 Nord, it will be necessary to change the train or the platform, depending on the works fase, in order to continue the journey. The rest of the line will work as usual.

Disturbance Connection between L4 and L5 closed at Verdaguer station
Transportation impacts and recommendations
Until October, due to improvement works, the connecting corridor between metro lines L4 and L5 at Verdaguer station will be closed.
To enter or exit the Verdaguer station, you can use the Passeig Sant Joan access for L4 or the Bailèn access for L5.
The connection between metro lines L4 and L5 has to be made on the street, following the signage. When re-entering Verdaguer station and validating your ticket, no trip will be deducted.

On Sunday, March 29th, the 7th stage of the Volta Ciclista Catalunya takes place in the city of Barcelona.

Metro Disruptions and alternative transport
Disruption on L10 Sud
From Friday 3 April, until the end of the service on 6 April, the section of L10 Sud between Zal | Riu Vell and Collblanc will be out of service due to infrastructure improvement works.
To reach the metro stations of the affected section, between ZAL | Riu Vell and Collblanc, we recommend the following transport alternatives:

From Collblanc and Torrassa, you can go with the L9 Sud, in the direction of Aeroport T1, to Can Tries | Gornal and connect with the special bus service. On the night of Sunday, April 5, the L9 Sud ends service at 12 midnight.

Shuttle bus service
There will be two special bus services:
- Special Bus 1 (regular service): route between ZAL | Riu Vell and Can Tries | Gornal, with stops at the stations of the affected section at the same metro schedule. Last departures from ZAL | Riu Vell:
- Friday to Saturday night: 00:06.
- Saturday to Sunday night: 23:49.
- Sunday night: 23:39.
- Special Bus 2 (night service): shuttle bus with night service to cover the section between Zona Franca and Can Tries | Gornal. Runs at this schedule:
- Friday to Saturday night: from 0 to 2 a.m. (last departure from Zona Franca: 1:39 a.m.).
- Saturday to Sunday night: all night.
- Sunday to Monday night (eve of holiday): service from Zona Franca to Collblanc, from 0 to 2 a.m. (last departure from Zona Franca: 1:27 a.m.).
To use the special bus service, it is not necessary to validate the ticket.
