Viu Montjuïc will be held on the weekend of 3 and 4 October. This celebration will see around forty cultural institutions based in Montjuïc offering their own and joint co-creation activities throughout the weekend, demonstrating that the mountain is also a cultural and architectural hub of the highest order.

The successful Catalan band Oques Grasses is saying goodbye to the stage. They will do so by holding four concerts at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys:

Circular bus service at Spotify Camp Nou

To make it easier for local residents to get around on match days, a bus service will operate, starting two hours before the start of each match and running continuously throughout the match and for up to an hour and a half after it has finished. The service will run approximately every 15 minutes, with an estimated journey time of 32 minutes to complete the circular route. Both the frequency and journey time may vary from time to time depending on traffic conditions around the stadium, particularly at peak times.

We welcome La Mercè, which is here to bring the city’s annual celebrations to life. From September 23 to 27, we’ll be celebrating one of the city’s most iconic festivals, where tradition, culture, and fun come together to fill our streets with life. Plan your route to reach all the event locations using public transportation.

Transport recommendations

There will be extra metro services, which will be running non-stop from 5 a.m., 23 September, to midnight, 24 September and from 5 a.m. on 25 September until midnight on 27 September.

We advise using the metro for getting around the city centre and travelling to the events’ areas.

In the event of high passenger numbers, make sure that at all times you follow the instructions given by staff, who will be in contact with the public safety authorities. Public announcements on loudspeakers and illuminated panels will also keep you informed and provide any necessary instructions.

Bus service will be increased on the 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th, with more buses running during the main events and more frequent service at events expected to draw large crowds, such as those held at Espigó del Gas, Bogatell Beach, Port Olímpic and Parc del Fòrum.

Until April 2027, approximately, due to improvement works, the connecting corridor between metro lines L1 and L5 at Plaça de Sants station will be closed.

To enter or exit the Plaça de Sants station, you can use the Alcolea (escala mecànica), Alcolea, Olzinelles, Cros and Riego access for L1 or Plaça de Sants access for L5.

The connection between metro lines L1 and L5 has to be made on the street, following the signage. When re-entering Plaça de Sants station and validating your ticket, no trip will be deducted.

From 6 July to until 6 September inclusive, due to improvement works, the connecting corridor between metro lines L1 and L3 at Catalunya station will be closed.

To enter or exit the Catalunya L1 station, you can use the entrances at Rambla Catalunya, Ronda Universitat, Passeig de Gràcia, Ronda Sant Pere and Centre Plaça.

To enter or exit the Catalunya L3 station, you can use the entrances at La Rambla, Pelai and Bergara.
