Recommended transport
From 15 to 21 August, due to the Gràcia's Major Festival, an array of activities for all ages will be taking place throughout the neighbourhood
To get to the Gràcia's Major Festival, we recommend the subway, which is reinforced with more trains and staff at the stations closest to the different points of the Gràcia neighborhood.
The closest subway stations to the festival are:
- Diagonal (L3/L5), Fontana (L3), Lesseps (L3) or Verdaguer (L4*/L5).
- Friday 21st August, metro will run the whole night. Check the metro operating times.
*From July 6th to August 30th, due to improvement works, the Verdaguer station of L4 metro line is closed. Check out the affectation and transport recommendations.
You can also arrive by bus:
- Numbers D40, D50, H6, H8, H10, V15, V17, V19, 6, 7, 19, 22, 24, 27, 33, 34, 39, 47, 114 and 116. Check the timetables for the different bus lines.

Disruptions to bus services due to events in the street
- From August 15th to August 21st, the line 39 won't run on the streets Biada, Providència and Torrent de l'Olla. It will divert at Pi i Margall Street, Passeig de Sant Joan and Còrsega Street.
- Saturday August 15th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the lines V17, 22, 24 and 116 won't run on Carrer Gran de Gràcia.
- From August 15th to August 21st, starting at 9 P.M., the lines D40, H6, H8, V17, 22, 24, 27, 39, 114 and 116, may divert at Gràcia, due to popular events.

Metro Disruptions and alternative transport
Disruptions on L9N and L10N
From Thursday, June 25th, until the end of service on September 6th, the section of the L9 Nord and L10 Nord lines between La Sagrera and Bon Pastor will be closed due to infrastructure improvement work. The work will be carried out in two phases:
- Phase 1: from June 25th to August 30th, no service between La Sagrera and Onze de Setembre.
- Phase 2: from August 31st to September 6th, no service between La Sagrera and Bon Pastor.
On August 12th, 13th, and 14th, there will be a temporary change to the route of the special bus service due to roadworks at the intersection of Garcilaso Street and Meridiana Avenue. Bus stop 8133 - La Sagrera will be cancelled. Alternative stop: 3312 - Sant Antoni Maria Claret - Felip II, located at Sant Antoni Maria Claret Street number 347.
To reach the stations on the affected section, we recommend the following transportation alternatives:
Metro lines L1 and L2
Shuttle bus service
Bus line H8
Metro lines L1 and L2
To get to Fondo, you can take the L1 from La Sagrera, as well as transfer to the operational section of the L9N.
To get to Gorg, you can take the L2 from Clot, as well as transfer to the operational section of the L10N.

Shuttle bus service
A special bus service will be available during the metro closure.
Phase 1 special bus: from June 25th to August 30th.
Route between La Sagrera and Onze de Setembre.
Phase 2 special bus: from August 31st until September 6th.
Route between La Sagrera and Bon Pastor.
To use the special bus service, it is not necessary to validate the ticket.
The connection between the metro and the special bus is not guaranteed after these last departures:

From Friday, July 17th, until the end of the service on August 28th, the section of the L1 between Florida and Plaça de Sants will be closed due to infrastructure improvement work.
To reach the stations on the affected section, we recommend the following transportation alternatives:

To get to Plaça de Sants, you can take the L9S and the L10S from Torrassa to Collblanc, changing there to the L5.

Shuttle Bus Service
A special bus service will be available during the metro closure. Disabled people and people with reduced mobility have priority in using this service.

Shuttle bus service for disabled people:
The station Plaça de Sants is not adapted for disabled people or people with reduced mobility, that's why there will be a special shuttle bus service between Hostafrancs and Plaça de Sants. If you need this service, get off the train at Hostafrancs and take this bus. It will take you to Plaça de Sants, where you can connect with the special bus service to Florida.
No ticket is necessary to travel in the Shuttle bus service.

You can use FGC to travel between the stations Av. Carrilet and Espanya.

From 6 July to until 6 September inclusive, due to improvement works, the connecting corridor between metro lines L1 and L3 at Catalunya station will be closed.
To enter or exit the Catalunya L1 station, you can use the entrances at Rambla Catalunya, Ronda Universitat, Passeig de Gràcia, Ronda Sant Pere and Centre Plaça.
To enter or exit the Catalunya L3 station, you can use the entrances at La Rambla, Pelai and Bergara.
The connection between metro lines L1 and L3 has to be made on the street, following the signage. When re-entering Catalunya station and validating your ticket, no trip will be deducted.

The Circuit Festival, one of the most prominent LGBTIQ+ festivals on the international stage, is returning to Barcelona. The festival will take place at various venues throughout the capital and the metropolitan area from August 1 to 9.
- The event will be held on August 8 at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via venue.

On Thursday 23 July, at 9.30 p.m., the Don Omar concert will take place at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
There will be two special bus services, one from Plaça d'Espanya and the other from Fira Gran Via between Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc.
There are several regular bus lines that take you to:
- Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys: lines 13, 23 (only runs on weekdays), 55, 125 and 150 (Pl. Espanya - Castell de Montjuïc).
- Plaça d'Espanya: lines D20, D40, H12, H16, V7, X2, 13, 46, 65, 79, 91, 109 and 150.
- Passeig de la Zona Franca: lines H16, V3, V5, 109 and 125.
You can also get there by subway Metro: get off at Paral·lel station (L2/L3) and then take the Funicular or get off at Espanya station (L1/L3) and then take the special bus service. On Thursdays, the metro service runs until midnight and the Funicular closes at 10 p.m.

From July 6 to August 30, the Verdaguer station (L4) will be closed for renovation work. Trains on the yellow line will not stop at this station.
Transportation options:
- On foot: To access Line 4 from Verdaguer, you must go through the Girona or Joanic stations.
- Metro: You can use the Passeig de Gràcia stations (connections to Line 2 and Line 4) or Sagrada Família (connects to L2 and L5).
- Bus: Line V19 provides a direct connection along the affected section between the Girona and Joanic stations.

Until April 2027, approximately, due to improvement works, the connecting corridor between metro lines L1 and L5 at Plaça de Sants station will be closed.
To enter or exit the Plaça de Sants station, you can use the Alcolea (escala mecànica), Alcolea, Olzinelles, Cros and Riego access for L1 or Plaça de Sants and Galileu access for L5.
The connection between metro lines L1 and L5 has to be made on the street, following the signage. When re-entering Plaça de Sants station and validating your ticket, no trip will be deducted.

From 6 June to 6 September, on Saturdays and public holidays, línes V29 and D20, will have two upward destinations, to improve the service and increase capacity in the areas with the highest demand.

Apart from the usual route of the line between Diagonal Mar and Roquetes, a section of the line will be reinforced:
Please note: From 10 July, the reinforced section will be extended to Passeig de Verdum.
- Diagonal Mar - Pg de Verdum (Metro Llucmajor): on weekends and public holidays, it will operate between 10.30 am and 9 pm, between stops 3535 - Josep Pla - Av Diagonal and 803 - Pg Verdum - Pl Jardins d'Alfàbia - Llucmajor.
It is advisable to look at the front of the bus to make sure it goes to the terminal you want.
Improvements to line D20

Apart from the usual route between Pg. Marítim and Ernest Lluch, a section of the line will be reinforced:
- Pg. Marítim - Pl. Espanya: on weekends and public holidays, it will operate between 12 noon and 10 pm, between stops 1788 - Trelawny - Av Litoral and 3390 - Paral·lel - Floridablanca.
It is advisable to look at the front of the bus to make sure it goes to the terminal you want.

On July 2, 4, and 5, the city of Barcelona will host the various events of the Tour de France's “Grand Départ.”
This service notice is currently being prepared. We will keep it updated with any new disruptions that may occur.

Disruptions Sunday, July 5
The second stage, 168 km long, starts in the city of Tarragona and finishes in Barcelona, where it will give way to a final circuit consisting of three laps around Montjuïc Park.
- Scheduled impact: from the start to the end of service.
- Bus lines out of service: 13, 115, 121, 125, 150 and 157.
- Bus routes that will modify their route: D20, D50, H8, H10, H12, H14, H16, V1, V3, V5, V7, V9, V11, X2, X3, 21, 46, 54, 55, 63, 65, 67, 68, 78, 109 and Barcelona Bus Turístic (Red and Blue).

TMB will reinforce the subway service to facilitate mobility during the events for the ‘Grand Départ’ of the Tour de France..
We recommend using the subway for travel to the locations where the stages are held.
To reach Sagrada Família station on Line 2, you need to get off at the station before or after it: Encants or Monumental. (L2).

Disruptions to bus services
- Date: Saturday, 23 May, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., approximately, and Monday 25 May, from 4 p.m. until the end of the service, the celebration of the Cors Muts party will take place at Barceloneta.
- Affected area: Pepe Rubianes Street and Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta will be closed to traffic.
- Buses affected that will be diverted:
- D20:
- Buses going towards Ernest Lluch: will divert from Avinguda Litoral to Carrer de Ramón Trias Fargas (mountain direction), Carrer de Salvador Espriu, Carrer del Doctor Aiguader and Plaça de Pau Vila.

Extension of the bus line route
From 27 April, the V5 bus line, will be extended to La Marina del Prat Vermell, with new stops added in the neighborhood.
1. Extension of the route

- Direction Pedralbes
With the extension of the route, the line will start on carrer dels Motors, continue along Carrer de l’Acer, Carrer de Cal Cisó, Passeig de la Zona Franca and turn on Carrer del Foc. From this point on, it will run as usual along Carrer dels Ferrocarrils Catalans, Plaça de Teresa Claramunt, Carrer de la Mare de Déu de Port, Carrer de la Mineria, Carrer de Mossèn Amadeu Oller, Carrer de la Constitució, Carrer d’Olzinelles, Carrer de Galileu, Passeig de Sant Antoni, Plaça de Joan Peiró, Carrer dels Comtes de Bell-lloc, Carrer del Marquès de Sentmenat, Carrer de Can Bruixa, Carrer de Galileu, Travessera de les Corts, Gran Via de Carles III, Avinguda Diagonal, Plaça de Pius XII, Avinguda de Pedralbes, and will end at Avinguda de Pearson.

The line will continue to start at Avinguda de Pearson, and will rul along Carrer de l’Abadessa Olzet, Avinguda d’Esplugues, Avinguda de Pedralbes, Plaça de Pius XII, Avinguda Diagonal, continuing along Gran Via de Carles III, Travessera de les Corts, Carrer de Joan Güell, Carrer de Sants, Carrer de la Creu Coberta, Carrer del Moianès, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, Carrer de la Química and Carrer de la Mare de Déu de Port. From there, the line will be extended and continue along Carrer del Foc, Passeig de la Zona Franca and end at Carrer dels Motors.

Here are the recommended modes of transport to get to the city's beaches this summer.
From 6 June to 6 September, on Saturdays and public holidays, línes V29 and D20, will have two upward destinations, to improve the service and increase capacity in the areas with the highest demand.
From 25 June to 6 September, both days included, there will be disruptions on L9 Nord and L10 Nord of the Barcelona metro, due to infrastructure improvement works. Check all the info.
