Bus service disruptions and recommendations


Due to School Carnival events organised on Friday 13 February, bus services will be affected in the streets the parades go through:

1. Escola Guinardó Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer d'Oblit and goes along Carrer del Doctor Valls, Carrer de la Garrotxa, Carrer de Teodor Llorente, Passeig Maragall, Passatge de Bernat Fenollar, Carrer de Santa Joaquima de Vedruna and ends at Carrer de l'Oblit.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 117.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Guinardó | Hospital de Sant Pau (L4).

2. Escola Regina Carmeli Parade

  • Time: from 2.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts in Sant Gaudenci street, continues along Salses and Rectoria streets and enters the school through Eduard Toda street.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 185.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Valldaura (L3).

3. Escola Mas Casanovas Parade

  • Time: from 11.00 a.m. to 1 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Mas Casanovas street, goes up to Los Castillejos street, continues along Ronda del Guinardó until Alfons el Savi square, then goes down Lepant street and returns to the school through Mas Casanovas street.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: H6, V21 and 191.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Alfons X (L4).

4. Escola Estel-Guinardó and Escola Torrent d'en Melis Parade

  • Time: from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, approx.
  • Route: it starts at the school and goes along Carrer del Telègraf, Carrer de Juliol, Plaça de Salvador Riera, Passatge dels Garrofers, Avinguda de la Mare de Déu de Montserrat, Carrer de Gènova, Carrer de Varsòvia and Carrer del Telègraf.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 117.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Guinardó | Hospital de Sant Pau (L4).

5. Mare Nostrum School and EBM Valldaura Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 11.00 a.m. to 1 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Passeig de Valldaura and goes along Carrer de Salses, Carrer de Lloret de Mar, Parc de la Unitat and Passeig de Valldaura.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 185.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Valldaura (L3).

6. Escola Arc Iris Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 9.00 a.m. to 11 a.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer d'Arc de Sant Martí and goes along Carrer de Comalada, Carrer d'Amílcar, Carrer de Dalmau Creixell and Carrer d'Arc de Sant Martí.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: V23.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Maragall (L4/L5).

7. Escola Sagrada Familia Horta Parade

  • Time: from 3.15 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Llobregós street, continuing along Ciències street, Marquès de Foronda street and returning to the school on Peris i Mencheta street.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: H2, V23, 19 and 102.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Horta (L5).

8. Escola Parc del Guinardó Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 9 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., approx.
  • Route: starts at the school and goes through Garriga i Roca street, Mare de Déu de Montserrat avenue, Garrofers passage, Varsòvia and Bisbal streets, Nen de la Rutlla square, Grècia and Garriga i Roca streets and returns to the school.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: D40, V23 and 117.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Guinardó | Hospital de Sant Pau (L4).

9. AFAS La Salut Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 3 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer d'Olot and goes along Carrer de Larrard, Rambla de Mercedes, Carrer de Marianao and Carrer d'Olot.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 116.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Vallcarca (L3).

10. Escola Piaget Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 3.15 p.m. to 4.00 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer de Llobregós and goes along Carrer de Ramón Rocafull, Passeig de la Mare de Déu del Coll, Carrer de la Mare de Déu dels Àngels, Carrer de Sant Dalmir, Plaça de Boyeros, Carrer de Sigüenza and Carrer de Llobregós.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 119.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: El Carmel (L5).

11. Escola La Salle Horta Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm, approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer del Dr. Letamendi and goes along Carrer del Canigó, Carrer de Porrera, Carrer de Congrés and goes back to school.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 185.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Valldaura (L3).

12. Centre Cultural Matas i Ramis Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Plaça de Santes Creus and goes along Carrer del Tajo, Carrer de Fulton, Plaça d'Eivissa, Carrer d'Horta, Baixada de la Combinació, Carrer de Chapí, and ends at Carrer de Feliu i Codina, where the Cultural Center is located.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 185.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Horta (L5).

13. Escola Santa Teresa Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 4 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer de Lugo and goes along Carrer de Lluís Marià Vidal and Carrer del Llobregós, and ends at Carrer de la Conca de Tremp.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 119.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: El Carmel (L5).

14. Escola El Carmel Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer del Llobregós and goes along Carrer de Ramon Rocafull and Carrer de Sigüenza, to Carrer del Pantà de Tremp, and back.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 119.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: El Carmel (L5).

15. Escola Bon Pastor Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer d'Estadella and goes along Carrer Llinars del Vallès and Carrer Sant Adrià, returning to Carrer d'Estadella.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: H4, H8, V33, 60 and 133.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Bon Pastor (L9N/L10N).

16. IES Martí Pous Carnival Parade

  • Time: from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m., approx.
  • Route: it starts at Carrer de Sant Adrià and goes along Carrer d'Otger, Carrer de l'Ajuntament, Plaça d'Orfila, Carrer de Malats, Carrer Gran de Sant Andreu, Carrer de Ramon Batlle, Carrer de San Narcís, and Carrer de Parellada, until reaching the Fabra i Coats complex.
  • Buses affected that will be diverted or operate on a shorter route: 133.
  • Recommended transport: to get about in areas where the parade passes through, take the metro. Nearest stations to the area with traffic restrictions: Sant Andreu (L1).
