The La Mercè Race is back on 20 September. One of the city's most iconic and charitable races.

  • Duration of the disruption: from the start of service until 11:30 a.m., approximately.
  • Route: the 10 km race starts at Carrer d'Aragó, between Carrer de Pau Claris and Passeig de Gràcia, and continues along Carrer de Casanova, Carrer de València, Passeig de Sant Joan, Plaça de Tetuan, Passeig de Sant Joan, Passeig de Lluís Companys, Passeig de Pujades, Passeig de Picasso, Avinguda del Marquès de l’Argentera, Pla de Palau, Passeig d'Isabel II, Passeig de Colom, Passeig del Portal de la Pau, Passeig de Josep Carner, Plaça de les Drassanes, Avinguda del Paral·lel, Carrer d'Entença, Carrer de Floridablanca, Ronda de Sant Antoni, Plaça de la Universitat, Carrer de Pelai, and finishes at Plaça de Catalunya.
  • Lines affected whose routes will be diverted or limited: D20, D50, H10, H12, H14, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, X3, 6, 7, 13, 19, 21, 22, 24, 33, 34, 39, 47, 54, 55, 59, 63, 67, 91, 109, 120, 121, 141 and Barcelona Bus Turístic (Blue and Red routes).

Disruptions due to the setup of the stage for the La Mercè Race:

  • Date: Saturday, September 19.
  • Duration of the disruption: from 3 p.m. until the end of service.
  • Affected area: Plaça de Catalunya on the Llobregat side, between Ronda de la Universitat and Carrer de Pelai.
  • Lines affected whose routes will be diverted or limited: V13, 59 and Barcelona Bus Turístic (Red route).

You can get to the start of the race with:

  • Metro: getting off at the stations Universitat (L1/L2).
