How to access ONbus

Activate the new exclusive feature of TMB App!

ONbus is a new feature in TMB App that connects users to the bus through Bluetooth technology.

Thanks to this connection, you can access real-time information, services, and digital support directly related to the vehicle you are traveling on.

The goal is to transform every bus journey into a more personal, guided, informative, and tailored digital experience.

ONbus also alerts you when it is time to get off at your stop.

Benefits of ONbus

With ONBbus, you’ll feel supported throughout your journey. You can track your stop and access information about:

  • The route and destination you have selected.
  • The time remaining until you reach your destination and the upcoming stops.
  • An alert when your stop is approaching and it’s time to get off.
  • The location of your bus on the map.
  • Any disruptions or incidents affecting your journey.
  • Technical information about the bus you are traveling on, such as the vehicle model and capacity.

How to access

There are several ways to access ONbus from the app:

  • Detection: from any screen in TMB App, if your device’s Bluetooth is enabled, TMB App will detect a nearby bus and offer you the option to access ONbus.
  • From the vehicle page: while waiting at the stop, switch your virtual status from waiting for the bus to boarding the bus. You will then receive an invitation to Virtually board the bus once your Bluetooth is detected.
  • From the Journey planner: when searching for a route that includes a TMB bus, in addition to the arrival times at the stop where you need to board, you will also be offered the option to access ONbus.

Important!

To activate ONbus, Bluetooth permission must be enabled on your device.

Some Android devices limit Bluetooth scanning by default to save battery life. If this restriction is set too high, it may prevent TMB App from detecting buses and stop you from accessing ONbus.
