Pilot Test "Quiet Hours"

TMB is launching a pilot test of Quiet Hours at the Sagrada Família (L5) Punt TMB customer service office.

The aim is to provide more accessible customer service for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or sensory hypersensitivity.

Some people may feel uncomfortable when there is too much noise, bright light, or too many people in the same space.

For this reason, during specific hours, the TMB Point will offer a calmer environment.

The pilot test will take place from November 2 to 29 at Sagrada Família (L5) Punt TMB customer service office.

Schedule

Monday to Friday on working days, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Users can carry out their procedures during the TMB Point’s regular opening hours.

However, it is recommended to visit during this time slot in order to benefit from an environment with fewer sensory stimuli.

It is also recommended to book an appointment in advance whenever possible.

What measures will be implemented?

During Quiet Hours, several measures will be put in place:

Reduced lighting intensity.

Reduced use of digital screens.

Fewer public address announcements.

Fewer background noises and environmental stimuli.

Sensory support materials.

Pictograms to facilitate communication.

Staff trained to assist you.

Punt TMB staff have received training on ASD, sensory hypersensitivity, and accessible communication.

They also have a practical guide with recommendations to provide support tailored to each person's needs.

Help us improve

During the pilot test, feedback will be collected from users.

This information will help assess the results of the initiative and explore the possibility of extending it to other TMB Points.

An Initiative for more inclusive mobility.

Through this project, TMB continues working to provide a more accessible, inclusive service that meets the needs of all people.
