Pride Barcelona is much more than a celebration: it is a space for connection, freedom, and expression where the city is transformed and filled with colors, voices, and experiences that highlight diversity. During these days, streets and squares become stages for advocacy and shared joy. With this spirit, TMB collaborates to bring this energy closer to all residents and help build a more open, inclusive city that takes pride in all its people.
Following the wide range of activities taking place across the city, the Universitat station will be transformed into a space full of symbolism and color, dressed in the hues of the rainbow to reflect the pride and values that define these days. A key hub in Barcelona that becomes a visible stage for this shared collective expression, inviting everyone to stop by and be part of a city that moves with respect, inclusion, and freedom.

TMB promotes fairer, more diverse, and non-discriminatory mobility
In June 2021, a plan was introduced to prevent, detect and address LGBTI‑phobia across TMB’s transport networks, developed jointly with the Observatory Against Homophobia (OCH). Since then, measures have been implemented to ensure safe, inclusive mobility free from any discriminatory behavior. This initiative reinforces TMB’s commitment to building an increasingly sustainable and fair society, through actions aimed at guaranteeing equal opportunities, based on the conviction that diversity is a source of richness and firmly rejecting any conduct that undermines human dignity.
Last year, TMB took a further step by joining the REDI Network (Business Network for LGBTI+ Diversity and Inclusion), strengthening its commitment to defending the rights and visibility of LGBTI+ people.
