Service alteration on L2

Here are the full details of the service impacts on L2 metro line due to the accessibility works on the connection between Clot L1 and Clot L2 stations.

What are the service impacts?

  • From midnight to 2 am on the night of 5 to 6 December, trains will not run between Sagrada Família and La Pau. This means that, between midnight on 6 December and 2 am (the end of metro service on days before a public holiday), trains will run between Paral·lel and Sagrada Família, and between La Pau and Badalona Pompeu Fabra. There will be no service between Sagrada Família and La Pau.
  • From 5 am on 6 December and until the end of service on 8 December,, trains will run along the entire line but will not stop at Clot L2 station in the direction of Badalona Pompeu Fabra.

Why are these disruptions taking place?

  • Train service between Sagrada Família and La Pau is suspended in order to prepare the work area for the construction activities that will begin at Clot on the morning of 6 December.
  • Trains will not stop at Clot L2 station in the direction of Badalona Pompeu Fabra to allow for essential works to build the corridor that will connect the Clot L1 platform with the Clot L2 platform via a new lift. Together with other works, this corridor will help deliver full accessibility at the station.

Transport alternatives

  • During the service suspension between Sagrada Família and La Pau, you can use NitBus routes N8 and N9.
  • While trains are not stopping at the Clot L2 platform in the direction of Badalona Pompeu Fabra, you can transfer to route L1 at Universitat station, or start or end your journey at Encants station on route L2.
