Price reduction on transport fares
Validity of integrated transport tickets purchased during 2022
All tickets purchased in 2022 are valid until 15 January 2023, except for the T-16 card and the T-verda card, which have their own expiry dates, and for tickets that expire before the 15 January 2023 due to the date of the first validation.
If you validate a T-usual card for the first time on 20 December 2022, you can use it until the 15 January 2023, not until 18 January 2023.
Unused days or journeys do not entitle you to any compensation. Find out what ticket is best for you according to your needs, the time of purchase and when you plan to start using it.
Exchange of tickets purchased between 1 January and 31 August 2022
Tickets purchased before 1 September cannot be exchanged during the reduction fare period for reducted ticket and no refunds will be given.
If you've already started using it, you can continue to travel with it during the reduction fare period. If you haven't validated it even once, you can exchange it between January 1 and March 31, 2023, paying the price difference if any.
Exchange of tickets purchased in 2022 that have not been validated
Tickets bought in 2022 that have not yet been used can be exchanged for tickets of the same category for 2023, between 1 January and 31 March 2023.
If 2023 tickets cost more than those purchased in 2022, the price difference will have to be paid. If they cost the same or less, users will not have the right to receive any compensation.
This exchange must be requested from the transport operators' customer service centres. At TMB, these are the Punts TMB.
Exchange of tickets purchased in 2022 due to malfunction
Tickets purchased in 2022 that have been used and, despite being well preserved, cannot be correctly read by validators, will be exchanged for tickets of the same type, with the same number of zones and journeys left. The latest expiry date will also be 15 January 2023. If the ticket exchanged expires before 15 January 2023, the exchange expires on the day the original ticket expires.
All exchanges require the exchanged ticket to be delivered.
