Provisional accessibility statement
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.tmb.cat.
TMB is working to make its website accessible in accordance with:
- Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications (hereinafter, Royal Decree 1112/2018), and with
- Decree 216/2023 of 5 December on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of the Administration of the Government of Catalonia and its public sector (hereinafter, Decree 216/2023).
As of 7 October 2025, an external accessibility audit is being carried out by the web accessibility consultancy TOTHOMweb, an auditing company accredited by ENAC (Entidad Nacional de Acreditación).
Once the audit has been completed, this statement will indicate the level of compliance and, subsequently, the necessary corrections will be implemented to ensure that the website is accessible to all users.
The requirements of standard UNE-EN 301549:2022 apply to this website, taking into account the exceptions provided for in Royal Decree 1112/2018.
Although work is ongoing, the website may contain office files in PDF format, multimedia content or other formats that do not fully meet accessibility requirements, as well as some documents created before 2018 that are included among the exceptions.
TMB’s commitment to accessibility
The TMB website has been designed with the aim of ensuring universal access for everyone who visits it, regardless of their physical, sensory or intellectual abilities, as well as the technical context in which they access it (type of device, software, connection speed, environmental conditions, etc.).
Therefore, we work to remove the barriers that hinder access to information and communication.
TMB is committed to achieving Double-A (AA) compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), as required by European, national and Catalan regulations.
The UNE-EN 301549:2022 standard is mainly based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, from August 2018, and requires compliance at level AA. However, the standard also includes other additional requirements —both mandatory and conditional— that TMB is also working to meet.
