European Mobility Week at TMB
We open up spaces in the metro network to the public.
When: 19.09.2026 to 20.09.2026
Where: Barcelona Metro
Access: Depending on activity
The European Mobility Week (EMW) takes place from 16 to 22 September and fills every district of the city with activities. At the same time, the city’s public transport operators hold their traditional open days, offering a variety of activities organised in collaboration with the main transport providers.
This year, the main slogan from the previous edition, “Mobility for All”, has been retained to promote universal access to public transport and to highlight mobility with intergenerational justice, ensuring that everyone can access high-quality, sustainable transport regardless of their income, location, gender or abilities. Whether they are young, older, or not yet born.
