Comprehensive track renewal on Line L1

Line L1 continues to move forward with new improvements to enhance service quality and reliability. In this regard, track renewal works will be carried out between Santa Eulàlia and Mercat Nou, along with the upgrade of the track equipment at Santa Eulàlia that connects to the depot. To carry out these works, the section between Florida and Plaça de Sants will be temporarily closed from 17 July to 28 August.

These works will enable a more efficient, safe and comfortable service for all users. The project addresses a high-demand section, with an average of around 43,000 daily validations on weekdays in July and close to 36,000 in August, thus helping to improve the travel experience on one of the network’s key lines.
