Night run through the metro tunnels
The Centenary Night Run was a sporting and charity event that was a part of the celebrations of the Centenary of the Barcelona Metro. The route covered a 5.2 km stretch of line 2 between Universitat and Monumental stations through the tunnels.
The objective of this sporting challenge was to raise awareness and raise funds for the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a charitable cause chosen by the TMB staff in 2024.
The race was jointly organized by TMB and Corredors.cat with the collaboration of the TMB Foundation, Barcelona City Council, the Amics de l'Hospital del Mar Foundation and the Hospital del Mar Research Institute.
