Centenary’s Climbing Time Trial
We will climb 419 steps in support of AFANOC
2nd Climbing Time Trial Against Childhood and Youth Cancer
The TMB Foundation and Transperfect Mountain Challenge, with the sponsorship of Orona and the collaboration of the Club Atlètic TMB, are organising this climbing time trial at the deepest station in the entire TMB network, El Coll/La Teixonera (L5).
This year we are celebrating the second edition of this race, following the success achieved in 2025, when it was organised to commemorate the metro’s centenaryion, from the lowest point of the station to the surface.
We invite you to take part in this charity sporting race, whose main goal is to support the AFANOC association and families with children affected by cancer.
How does it work?
- The event will consist of two timed runs, which each participant will complete consecutively.
- Every participant will be assigned a start time and will access the station from the competition centre outside, in groups of 20 people.
- The whole group will take the lift down to the start area and, once there—near the platform—participants will set off following the organisers’ instructions, in groups of 4 at one‑minute intervals.
- After completing the first timed run, the result will be downloaded from the electronic card before going back down to complete the second run.
- Timing will be carried out using the SportIdent (SI) system, with electronic cards and checkpoints that must be registered at both the start and finish of each run.
