Disruptions and recommended transport
On July 2, 4, and 5, the city of Barcelona will host the various events of the Tour de France's “Grand Départ.”
This service notice is currently being prepared. We will keep it updated with any new disruptions that may occur.

Disruptions Thursday, July 2
Due to the presentation of the Tour de France teams, there will be disruptions to bus and metro service in Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia area.
- Metro: out of service at the Sagrada Família station (L2). Trains will not stop at the station from 1:00 p.m. until the end of the event. The Provença - Marina concourse at the Line 5 station will also be closed starting at 1:00 p.m., and access to and from both concourses may be restricted to manage passenger flow.
- Routes: D50, H8, H10, V21, V23, 19, 33, 34, 39, 47 and Barcelona Bus Turístic (Red and Blue route).
Disruptions Saturday, July 4th
The first stage is a 19.6-kilometer time trial starting at the Fòrum Park and finishing at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium.
Disruptions Sunday, July 5
The second stage, 168 km long, starts in the city of Tarragona and finishes in Barcelona, where it will give way to a final circuit consisting of three laps around Montjuïc Park.
Recommended transport
TMB will reinforce the subway service to facilitate mobility during the events for the ‘Grand Départ’ of the Tour de France..
We recommend using the subway for travel to the locations where the stages are held.
To reach Sagrada Família station on Line 2, you need to get off at the station before or after it: Encants or Monumental. (L2).
