The new TMB App on Android
How do I install it?
This initial version of the new TMB App will be operating alongside the current version. So you'll need to follow the steps detailed below to install the new version on your Android device. This process is fully controlled by Play Store. So it is just as secure as downloading it from Play Store.
1. Go to PlayStore
Access the Play Store on your Android device, at TMB App tab.
2. Ask to be a beta tester
In the TMB App tab you'll find a button for joining the programme (you'll need to scroll down to find it). Once you've joined, you'll need to wait while your request is validated. This may take a few minutes.
Important: You may already be part of the beta programme if you already signed up previously (for example, for T-mobilitat). In this case, you can update the new version or, if you prefer, you can quit the programme to maintain the previous version of the TMB App.
3. Check that your are a beta tester
When you go back into the TMB App tab in Play Store, you can check that you're now a beta tester under the header. Once you are a beta tester, (the word 'beta' will appear next to the name of the TMB App), any subsequent updates will be for the new TMB App.
4. Check that TMB App has been uploaded
If you already had the TMB App installed on your device, the new version will automatically replace it (we recommend that you activate automatic updates in the Play Store settings), or you can deal with the updates or installations yourself by clicking on "Install" or "Update" in the Play Store tab.

What happens to my JoTMBé account and all the favourites, alerts and places I've saved?
If you start the session with your JoTMBé account credentials, you'll have access to everything you had on the previous app without any changes:
- Personal information, invoicing data, payment methods and communication preferences that you have saved.
- Subscription to the points programme and activities and points accumulated.
- Favourite stops and routes, and any alerts you have set up.
- Favourite places (home, work and everything you've saved beforehand). The option "Favourite routes" is no longer available on this version of the app.
- Purchase history.
- T-mobilitat account, if you already had it linked. And you can still scan your tickets and upload new ones as always!
- T-mobilitat e-wallet. If you have a mobile travel card, all you have to do is access the mobile support and as long as you keep the e-wallet app installed and you have logged into JoTMBé, you'll see the card and the tickets you have uploaded. You may in any case be prompted to synchronise when you access the mobile travel card.
- We have introduced the AMBici account. If you have already registered for this, a new option will appear that enables you to access your account and also unblock bicycles via the TMB App.
Will I still be able to use T-mobilitat as I have up to now?
Yes, absolutely. You'll still be able to reload your tickets as you have been doing up to now.
If you don't yet have T-mobilitat, you can sign up for the service, link it to your JoTMBé account and start to enjoy all the advantages it offers, such as conveniently uploading tickets wherever you are.

As long as you are logged in to JoTMBé, all your preferences and transactions are saved, and you can continue to use them in the TMB App you are using and on our website.
Also, if you don't yet have a JoTMBé account, you can get one from the app itself.

You can do so in one of the following ways:

- By accessing our feedback form or from the personal menu on the app you have installed.
The data you send us will be processed solely in accordance with your preferences, and the information you provide will only be used to work on resolving any problems or shortcomings that are identified.
The reviews you send us will not be made public on this initial version of the app, and will only be used internally with a view to making improvements.
