Ciutat de la Justícia, new station of L10 Sud
On Saturday, 23 November, Ciutat de la Justicia, the seventh station of line 10 Sud, starts operating.
Ciutat de la Justícia is the seventh station of L10 Sud, which runs from Foc (Barcelona) to Collblanc (l’Hospitalet de Llobregat), covering 4.5 km.
It is located between Foneria and Provençana stations and has two accesses: one close to Ciutat de la Justícia, from where it takes its name, and the other near the FGC Ildefons Cerdà station (Granvia / Alhambra access).
It stands out for its innovation, security, technology and original design.
It has been built in the form of a well, with a lower and upper platform and an intermediate level between platforms.
Like all new metro stations metro, Ciutat de la Justícia is accessible. It has six, large capacity lifts, which connect the lobby to the intermediate level between the two platforms. It also has two lifts for the preferential use of people with reduced mobility. These lifts stop at each platform and at the intermediate level. The lift connecting the street with the station lobby is at the Granvia / Alhambra entrance.
Owing to its proximity, Ciutat de la Justícia station has become a link with the FGC Ildefons Cerdà station, through a signposted street route in both directions.
With the opening of Ciutat de la Justicia station, Barcelona’s metro network reaches the figure of 160 stations and the Line 9/10 project continues to progress, destined to boost sustainable mobility in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona.
