Metro lines affected by maintenance work

Maintenance and improvements works on the metro will affect services on certain parts of the network. To minimise the inconvenience to passengers, this work is done in the summer, which is when demand is lowest. During this time alternative means of transport are provided to the stations affected.

Service disruptions on L2 between Artigues / Sant Adrià and Badalona Pompeu Fabra

From 6 to 26 August. There will be no service between these stations from Monday 6 August to Sunday 26 August. On the rest of L2, between Paral·lel and Artigues / Sant Adrià, the service will operate as usual.

Special bus service. A special bus service will run between Artigues / Sant Adrià and Badalona Pompeu Fabra, stopping at all the stations with no service (Sant Roc, Gorg and Pep Ventura) starting and stopping at the same times as the metro.

Service disruptions on L5 between Horta and Vall d'Hebron

From 10 to 19 August. There will be no service between these stations from Friday 10 to Sunday 19 August. On the rest of L5, between Cornellà Centre and Horta, the service will operate as usual.

Alternative public transport

A special bus service will run between Horta and Vall d'Hebron stopping at all the stations with no service (El Carmel and El Coll / La Teixonera), starting and stopping at the same times as the metro.
You can take L3 to Vall d'Hebron from Diagonal station.

Disruptions to service on L1 between Santa Coloma and Fondo

From 13 August to 2 September. There will be no service between these stations from Monday 13 August to Sunday 2 September. On the rest of L1, between Hospital de Bellvitge and Santa Coloma, the service will operate as usual.
