Transit system for King Saud University, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia)

TMB and SICE (Sociedad Ibérica de Construcciones Eléctricas, SA) won the contract for the Campus Transit System King Saud University. The project consists of the conceptual design and support, in the initial phase, for the building of a trolley bus-based singular transport system adapted to the needs of the residents and users of the university campus.

The system consists of a 10-km circuit, with 24 stops on 12 platforms. Support will be offered in regard to vehicles, energy system, workshop and depot, control centre, training and preparation for operation. Once building is complete, the scope of support will be decided.
