An activity for pre-school and infant school children. On a guided visit to a metro station close to the school (chosen by the teachers) the children learn about how a station works.

An activity aimed at upper secondary school and vocational training cycles. This guided visit to the Zona Franca bus depot makes students aware of the importance of public transport in guaranteeing safe, sustainable mobility. They also learn about TMB's search for alternative fuels.

This activity is aimed at secondary school children. On a guided visit to the Sant Genís metro depot the children learn about how a metro network operates and everything that goes on in a depot. Emphasis is placed on the work that must be done due to vandalism and the inappropriate behaviour of some passengers.

A stroll through the history of public transport in Barcelona

This activity is aimed at upper secondary school and vocational training cycles. It is a guided visit through over 100 years of history of public transport in Barcelona. Students can see a vintage bus and the Triangle depot, where they can see one of the first metro trains in use in the city.

TMB near you

An activity for 1st- and 2nd-cycle secondary school children in which they learn to work out a route on public transport using new technologies. They also analyse the influence of public transport on the changes taking place in the cities in the Barcelona metropolitan area.

An activity aimed at children in special education, consisting of a visit to the Horta or Ponent bus depot. The aim is to show children the elements that make up a bus, particularly those that provide safety and comfort for passengers, and to work with them on how to behave on public transport.

TMB moves for education

This activity is part of a programme to diversify the curriculum fostered by the Barcelona Education Consortium. It is aimed at 3rd- and 4th-year secondary school student who require organisation that differs from standard school procedure, in order meet objectives and acquire the basic skills required. This helps them to gain the appropriate compulsory qualification. The activity is developed in ten sessions.

An activity for junior school children. On a guided visit to the Montjuïc funicular and cable car, students learn about these singular means of transport and the service they offer the city.
