TMB Culture: "Del mur a l'art"

From 28 March to 1 June in the TMB exhibition hall, the Espai Mercè Sala.

This exhibition is an invitation into the double life of 14 Spanish urban artists. The exhibition consists of a selection of original works created in studios, photos of art interventions in public spaces, the artists' reflections on this movement, and a compilation of videos showing other content and facets of their work. The exhibition is a claim to both the capacity of some artists, who are able to face any artistic challenge and the value of the new muralist movement in our cities.

TMB Culture: Swab Stairs

The 5th Swab International Contemporary Art Fair moves a work of work to Passeig de Gràcia (L2), Catalunya (L1) and Liceu (L3) stations from 16 to 27 May.

As part of the "Swab Off" programme, the 5th Swab International Contemporary Art Fair goes into the metro and invites the city's most prestigious art schools to present a large piece of art on vinyl on the steps of the main metro station steps.

TMB Culture: Flamenco Lab' Taller de Músics

Flamenco show on 24 May from 6.00 to 8.00 pm in the lobby at Universitat station (L2).

Different looks at flamenco. A selection of avant-garde projects by the flamenco student combo of the Taller de Músics, experimenting under the direction of Alba Guerrero.

TMB Culture: Mostra Sonora i Visual

As part of the 8th Mostra Sonora i Visual, there will be an audiovisual show live in the lobby of Universitat station on 31 May at 7.00 pm.

The Mostra Sonora i Visual is a festival and leading project organised by the Centre Cívic Convent de Sant Agustí to promote emerging talents in sound and the visual field with special emphasis on experimentation, electronics and the use of new technologies.

TMB Culture: Sónar down in the metro

The International Festival of Advanced Music and New Multimedia Art in Universitat station (L2) at 7.00 pm on 8 June.

The 19th International Festival of Advanced Music and New Multimedia Art will be down in the metro with Internet2, a mix of comedy, drama and classical music filtered through electronics with a caustic sense of humour and feverish spirit.
