Exhibition hall

Located in Diagonal metro station, the Espai Mercè Sala is an exhibition hall provided by TMB so that passengers and artists can meet and exhibit their creativity and, at the same time, so that the general public can take part in the cultural activities that take place there.

The hall was opened as a tribute to Mercè Sala Schnorkowski, who was Chair of TMB for eleven years (1980-1991). She made a valuable contribution to promoting metropolitan public transport and we wanted her name to be associated with an area with this vocation to serve the public, in emulation of her work and commitment.

The Espai Mercè Sala is in the lobby joining metro lines 3 and 5 at Diagonal station. It is open Monday to Friday; from 10.00 am to 8.30 pm. Entrance is free.
