TMB Culture: "Adrià Gual (1872-1943), the scent of an era"

From 4 April to 7 June at the Espai Mercè Sala, TMB's exhibition hall.

Adrià Gual (1872-1943), writer, poet, playwright, filmmaker, stage director, set designer educationsit, painter, graphic designer and illustrator associated with Modernisme and Symbolism.

Through this exhibition, the Research Centre and Museum of the Performing Arts of the Institut del Teatre (Theatre School) pays tribute to Adrià Gual and publicises his role in Catalan culture, in particular the theatre. This exhibition takes us through his artistic works, his plays, his work as a stage director and as a promoter of cultural initiatives and institutions. The exhibition is part of the events organised to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the founding of the Institut del Teatre by Adrià Gual.

TMB Culture: 4th Barcelona to Caldes de Montbui Classic Bus Rally

The 4th Barcelona to Caldes de Montbui Classic Bus Rally  revs up with the exhibition of vehicles taking part in Avinguda Maria Cristina on Saturday 1 June, from 4.00 to 8.00 pm.

Entrance is free and open to the public, even the little ones, who will have their very own section. Also new this year is the chance to take a ride on a vintage bus around Montjuïc.

On Sunday 2 June, the exhibition will be open again from 9.00 to 10.30 am, when the rally starts and the buses head for Caldes de Montbui. Take part in the rally by riding on one of the buses. More information from the rally web page.
